The Hargreaves Foundation supports Birtenshaw School

The Hargreaves Foundation is proud to announce investment in support of Birtenshaw School, Bolton, a leading institution in transforming the lives of children and young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Birtenshaw School, Bolton, part of the esteemed Birtenshaw Group, has been providing outstanding care and education services since its establishment in 1956. The school is set to expand its offerings through the New Build BB2 Extension Project.

Part of the investment will go towards purchasing Clever Touch interactive monitors for all classrooms. These cutting-edge tools will create an inclusive and immersive learning environment.

The school, recognised globally for its outstanding contributions to special education, has received accolades such as the Excellence in Pupil Development award 2023 and The Most Outstanding Provider of Special Education Needs in the World 2022 at the Global Awards.

This partnership exemplifies The Hargreaves Foundation’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people facing educational challenges due to special needs.
